Sewing and Creative Textiles! Beginning 29th August 2017

Come along to our Tuesday evening sewing/craft/textiles classes!

5 Tuesday nights beginning 29th August 2017.  6.30pm-9pm (coming later or leaving earlier is fine, just let us know)

Classes take place in 'The Venue' on Laurencekirk High Street.  There is ample free parking and The Venue has disabled access.

You can choose to follow our tutor led beginners sewing course, bring your own project or drop us an email to have a chat about what you'd like to do.

Our beginners sewing class gives you 2-3 tutor led projects - starting with a cushion cover - and if you're speedy and get those done then you can move on to choosing your own projects, with help from Carolyn the tutor.

Want to bring your own things to do?  Great, just let us know what to expect.

The price includes tea and coffee, access to Carolyn's 'scrap box' as well as some threads etc.  Fabric for projects will need to be brought by the student - this needn't be expensive, often people bring reduced duvet sets and use those for practicing, and using your own fabrics means you get a product you'll like and will fit in your home.

Bringing your own sewing machine would be desirable, however we do have a couple that can be used in class if needs be.

Depending on what you want to make, you will need to bring with you at least -
scissors suitable for fabric
pins (with large coloured heads preferrably)
a pencil
a note pad
a tape measure

If you want to get in touch to discuss, please email knittykittybangbang@knittykittybangbang.co.uk
