Beginners crochet - Autumn block 1

Come along to our weekly crochet group!

This class will teach you the basic stitches you will need to let you make a huge number of crochet items such as amigurumi critters, scarves, baskets and more!

If you're slightly beyond the 'beginner' stage and would just like to come along and get help with what you're working on, that's great too, I keep class sizes small enough so that everyone can be working at entirely different paces and for it still to be fine.

The group is an opportunity for you to just come and do something for you just for some 'me time' or to have some accountability and space to plough through those WIPs you've have stashed in the cupboard for a while or work on things you just don't have room to at home. You'll also be able to use the group to bounce ideas off as well as getting the encouragement and inspiration that comes from working in a group setting.

If you have a special project in mind and you'd like to discuss your plans before booking, feel free to email Carolyn on knittykittybangbang@knittykittybangbang.co.uk or to message the Facebook page www.facebook.com/kkbbpresents

You will need to bring with you:
Some yarn
A suitably sized crochet hook (it will tell you on the ball of yarn which size to get)
A pair of scissors
and a pencil is usually handy.

There is free tea, coffee and biscuits available at each session (the important stuff).

The group will meet on Tuesday nights between 6.30 and 9.00pm (coming later and leaving earlier is fine) in The Venue, Laurencekirk which is behind the Masonic Hall on the High Street. There is parking outside The Venue and it has a ramp and wheelchair accessible toilets.

Each block lasts for 5 Tuesdays. This booking is for the block beginning 27th August. For other dates please see the other listings.
Booking is essential as work space is limited I'm afraid.

If you'd like to come along and use the space to work on non-crochet related projects, you're more than welcome to come and do that too, just make sure you make the right selection when checking out.

This is an adult group but people aged 13-16 are welcome with an adult. Over 16s are welcome without an adult accompanying them. If you plan to attend and will be either bringing a young person or if you or one of your party has additional requirements please let me know in advance by emailing knittykittybangbang@knittykittybangbang.co.uk so I can make sure everything is in place so that you or they can get the most out of the group.

This group requires a minimum number to go ahead.

Cancellation Policy: As with all online purchases you can cancel this class within 1 week of booking and get a refund. After this one week period has passed, no refunds will be given. No refunds will be given for spaces cancelled within one week of the class date nor will refunds be given if students just don't turn up. If the class is cancelled by knittykittybangbang, you will be refunded.
